The Maca root grows on the high slopes of the Peruvian Andes. Incas first used it 3000 years ago for its energy and endurance enhancing qualities. We eat at least 2 tablespoons of it every day, sprinkle it over a bowl of muesli or blend it into drinks (soups, smoothies, milkshakes...)
It's fun and challenging to cook with what's available and the produce is so much fresher than anywhere else. Our family loves them!
